Snapshot

A Snapshot preserves a virtual image of the file system and settings on your server by copying the state of the system at a specific point in time. A snapshot merely copies the settings and metadata necessary to recover your data in the event of a disruption, as opposed to a backup, which creates a full copy of your data.
